At first I wasn't excited by the quilting reference book but I find myself going back to it again and again for ideas on how to quilt certain spaces. It's light on technique but great for thumbing through to get ideas. I'm working on a quilt right now that I was able to figure out some tricky border areas that stumped me using this book. I think it's going to be a great resource.
Meh, not a lot of new info in here. I've been at this a while and have read a lot of other books, so I didn't get much out of this that I'll end up using.
A great intro for a new quilter. I'd like to do the t-shirt quilt (p. 114-119) and will probably check this out again once I'm ready to start.

I have not yet tried any of the patterns, so I can't evaluate accuracy or ease of following directions, but one thing I really like about this book is that it provides suggestions in visual diagram form, on how to machine quilt the finished tops -- instead of just simply saying "quilt as desired" as many patterns do. This is helpful for quilters who machine quilt at least some of their own quilts, instead of sending them out to be quilted.… (lisätietoja)
