The whole book, from page one till the very end leads to one inevitable conclusion. It is very consistent, even in portraying the sparks of hope that Jack has.
It would have been nice if things turned out differently, but I think the story described here is the most common practise.
It was a nice read.

A book that's easy to read, but not really my cup of tea. Too much romance/romantical complications added in this mixed book. Since I've read Stephen King I know in a writer's world anything can happen, but a blind man seeing again is actidbit too much for me.
