Sort of wierd story of agoraphobic aromatherapist Stella who lives in an ordered and tightly controlled flat with her lover, Ivan, who has clients that visit from home and has her life nice and neat. Then it got wierd. Ivan has money stashed. Is he involved in drugs? The underworld? And what's up with Stella's sister Skye? Stella freaks out when Ivan begins to wear a bracelet from an old lover. OK, odd, not great.

Stella Lewis is an agoraphobic aromatherapist. She sees clients in her home because she finds it impossible to even go to the bottom of the stairs in the building where her flat is located. One day she finds a bracelet belonging to her boyfriend Ivan, with an inscription on it that brings out all her paranoia and insecurities.
The story is told in the first person and covers about a week in Stella's life. It has sinister undertones as Stella becomes obsessed with finding out more about the person behind the inscription, going to some extraordinary lengths to get information.
I liked the writing style in this novel and found it to be a quick, but quite complex read.… (lisätietoja)
