This is a gorgeous book. A big heavy coffee-table book for armchair travellers, and a guide that tourists can actually use to start planning their trips. I'll say more when I'm done, and add a description and cover photo.

Ok, done. Actually there's not much more to say. I recommend residents of, and tourists to, Australia read this. But I, stuck in the US, was satisfied just to look at all the pictures. Well, ok, satisfied is the wrong word. It does make me dream of going over there. ;)

Just a bit dated, because as of this 1989 edition Uluru was still called Ayers Rock. Do be sure to get more up-to-date info. before making any real plans, of course.… (lisätietoja)
