Darling: A Novel Tekijä: William Tester
I first heard of this book in an overview book of Chip Kidd's work - his cover is wonderful - and the description saying it was about two brothers and their love for a cow. I thought this could be really good stuff. Unfortunately, Tester doesn't seem to understand what a tremendous idea he has. The book is murky and muddled with prose/poetry obscuring any real attempt at storyline. What emerges is a wispy, hazy amalgam of disconnected events.
