ABSTRACT:
In September, 1976, Suntec Systems, Inc.(1)was selected as a subsystem contractor for Phase II of Sandia's Solar Total Energy Test Facility Project. Phase I of the program, completed in August, 1976, included the preliminary design and performance predictions for the subsystem. A 37m 2(400 ft 2 ) test module was also designed and fabricated during this period and was delivered to Sandia in January, 1977 for testing in the Albuquerque environment. Experience gained in the design, fabrication and testing of the 37 m2(400 ft 2 ) test module led directly to development of the 260m2(2800 ft 2 ) SLATS subsystem portion of the Solar Total Energy Test Facility.… (lisätietoja)
