(eng) According to the author Alistair (Charles) Stewart combined his name with that of his wife on marriage in 1988 to become Alistair Stewart-Sykes. In 2010 he reverted to his name at birth, partly in order to confuse librarians, but chiefly because he married again, and his wife did not want to take the name of his first wife. He writes on early Christianity, with a particular emphasis on liturgy, church orders, and social history. He does not write about computer programming or Australian rivers.
