Chevy Stevens was born in 1973 in Canada. Her birth name is Rene Unischewski. She is a Canadian author of thriller novels. Stevens was working as a realtor when she got the idea for her novel Still Missing, in which a real estate agent is abducted while holding an open house. - CHEVY STEVENS grew up on a ranch on Vancouver Island and still calls the island home. For most of her adult life she worked in sales, first as a rep for a giftware company and then as a Realtor. At open houses, waiting between potential buyers, she spent hours scaring herself with thoughts of horrible things that could happen to her. Her most terrifying scenario, which began with being abducted, was the inspiration for STILL MISSING. After six months Chevy sold her house and left real estate so she could finish the book.
Chevy enjoys writing thrillers that allow her to blend her interest in family dynamics with her love of the west coast lifestyle. When she’s not working on her next book, she’s hiking with her husband and dog in the local mountains.

Never Let You Go: A Novel Tekijä: Chevy Stevens
Well Ms Stevens has done it again. Less than 24 hours is all it took for me to finish this riveting book. I could not put it down. She delivers another suspenseful novel about lies, deception, murder, and fear. But most of all the closeness a Mother and Daughter have while going through all of this together. The impeccable bond between a mother and child can never be broken, no matter what is going on in their lives.
This is Chevy's first short story so I really didn't give it a 5 start because I feel like I should have read Always Watching first. So in saying that, this is a really good short story and now I am off to read Always watching.
I gave this book a 5 star because I have read two other books by Chevy and I have to say by far this is the one I love the most. It had me terrified, sad and happy for Annie. There were parts of the book where I could not contain my tears for this girl and there were parts in this book where my heart sand to my feet. If you have not read this book I highly recommend you do, it will not disappoint. I love love love her writing.
this has to be one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I could not put this book down. a true page turner kept me interested minute to minute wondering what was going to happen next. this is a must read
