NCLA Review - The author proposes that churches should not meet in church buildings in large groups, but in homes, in groups of 8 to 20 people. He contends these smaller groups multiply exponentially and are “under the radar”, especially important in areas subject to persecution. House churches do not need a full time professional pastor and no buildings are required so more money is available for the support of those in the 5 ministries: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. One chapter contrasts cell churches, which have a top down structure, with house churches and their more effective flat church structure. Most people who use church libraries would probably feel rejected by this book because it seems to discount the congregational church. Rating: 2.5 —MS… (lisätietoja)
