It doesn't have a plot (at least not one that involves the main character), or a focus. Things are shown out of chronological order to distract and confuse you enough that you don't get bored. The style is all over the place. There's a lot of potential for later seasons to be good, if they can figure out what they want the show to be, and tell a story.
