1182. Abelard and Heloise, by D. W. Robertson, Jr. (20 Aug 1972) This supposedly tells the true story, but also spends much time discussing the literature which has grown up around the pair. All in all, while the book is of interest, I did not think too much of it.
Robertson notoriously attempted to force all
