Being the Smithsonian's take on fin-de-siecle American art through the lens of its collection. The reproductions and the commentaries are fine, although the coverage necessarily can't be complete.
½Artworks and Dr. Prelinger's contextual notes are fine, but her interpretive comments are a crock.
mostly unknown work. but also very good work. some pages blank.
