This is a very short Novella about the last moments of a convicted killer's life. His Lawyer Aaron Teitelbaum from Manlattan tries appeal after appeal over a ten year period. The prisoner, Del Nevins has been turned down for the last time for killing four people in a convenience store. Del's Lawyer attempts a last plea to a Catholic Priest, Father Raymond Altomare at Saint Gregory's rectory but he was just a visiting Priest from Onteora but known to fight the cause of execution. The lawyer has tried so many Priests and has been turned down and Father Raymond Altomare knew this and Del Nevins had only two days left…
As the story is so short I'll leave the ending open and you can decide if this Priest was able to help the prisoner....
