Nicole Pope is a Swiss journalist and writer based in Istanbul, Turkey. She worked as Turkey correspondent for the French daily Le Monde for 15 years and has published articles in numerous international publications. - Nicole Pope is a Swiss journalist, columnist, lecturer, political analyst, consultant and writer. She is famous for her book titled Honor killings in the Twenty-First Century which was published by Palgrave Macmillan. She has also co-authored Turkey Unveiled: A History of Modern Turkey. She attended Deakin University. In the past, she worked as a Lecturer in Journalism at Bahcesehir University, Commentator at Gazeteci Gozuyle, TRT Turk television, Senior Fellow at European Stability Initiative, Turkey correspondent at Le Monde and as an Administrative officer (field missions) at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
