If you wish to learn Coptic, for the love of Pete please use a more recent grammar. (Thomas Lambdin's is good, as are Bentley Layton's.)
* Egyptian written in a modified Greek alphabet rather than hieroglyphics. Invaluable for the decipherment of the Rosetta stone and any guess at what older Egyptian sounded like.
