Chris Paton is a genealogist and writer based in Ayrshire, who runs the Scotland's Greatest Story research service at www.scotlandsgreateststory.co.uk. As well as contributing to many of the UK's best known family history magazines, he also writes for his own Scottish GENES news blog at näytä lisää www.scottishgenes.blogspot.com, and regularly gives talks to family history societies across the UK and worldwide. Metal Emissary (Hanover and Singh, #1) Tekijä: Chris Paton

Metal Emissary is a fantastic book that I couldn't put down. It is a steampunk adventure set in Afghanistan. The characters are well thought out, the setting feels very real, and Chris Paton is a thorough writer who is clearly having fun living in this world he has created, which comes through for the reader as well.
