I enjoyed this book. Boone is austere. I could feel Keely's frustration that her love would never be returned and her confusion over his hot and cold behavior towards her. His brother is a jerk as he uses Keely for his convenience. I liked that his sister would give him a hard time about Keely especially over the snake bite.

Keely's parents are a piece of work. They are so involved in their sordid lives, they are willing to sacrifice Keely to their lies and secrets. Secrets have a way of getting out. Fortunately, the townspeople realize Keely is not her parents and treat her with kindness and respect.

I finally finished this 4 romances in one book. I bought this at a local library sale and I voluntarily chose to review these stories. This book contained the following stories: Drew, Jobe, Tom, Grant. All were Texan guys in a variety of occupations. They are all good stories but most not for the under 18 readers. I've given them each a 4.5* rating. Lots to interest you and keep you interested. These guys are all in the same community. This has been one heck of a couple weeks. Had the whole family in and fighting a head cold at the same time. Each story can be a stand a lone but it's nice to know the other's stories too.… (lisätietoja)

THE HAWK’S SHADOW by Diana Palmer
Gil Barnes and Nemara Landreth have don’t smile and play nice when they first meet but as they spend time together working the mystery of the bones found in town, realize they have more than a few things in common. I really enjoyed this and loved Nemara’s first meeting with Gil’s pet. Still smiling about that and how the story ended.

RECUE: RANCHER STYLE by Rebecca Zanetti
Tara Webber and Greg Simpson were high school sweethearts that get a second chance at romance in this story. Greg stepped up to take on his son’s teenage children and is doing his best, but things are not always easy. This is one of my favorite authors and I had to read this book – so glad I did – now wonder when the next book about the Cattle Club group will show up to read.

A COWBOY KIND OF ROMANCE by Delores Fossen
Brenna Sullivan and Theo Cameron were also high school sweethearts that broke up at the end of their senior year. They, too, get a second chance to get it right and have their families and the entire town working together to match them again.
