This book was a fantastic resource. Every page of text is accompanied by a simplified map and teaches some feature of map keys and maps. Each page ends in a question. With almost no alteration, I was able to use this book as a lesson plan on maps. I read it with a doc cam and had students come up to the board and identify features. An incredibly useful book. I can't believe this is only the 723,089th most popular book on this site. I would have guessed more like 723,052nd.
