This book provides a comprehensive guide to the principles and practice of Chinese and Western systems of ear acupuncture, commonly known as auriculotherapy. Exceptionally well illustrated with clear drawings and photos, the book offers an in-depth evaluation of the theoretical underpinning of auriculotherapy, and gives clear treatment plans for over 250 medical conditions.

The ear reflex points presented in this handbook are based upon systematic research conducted at the UCLA Pain Management Center and the extensive clinical findings of medical doctors and acupuncturists in China and
Europe. This text provides a standardized auricular nomenclature system for designating different anatomical zones of the ear.

Health professionals from a wide range of medical modalities, including physicians, acupuncturists, chiropractors, physical therapists, reflexologists, dentists and nurses, have successfully utilize the clinical procedures presented in previous editions of this manual to relieve chronic pain and treat addictions with success.
