Dianne Ochiltree

Children's author Dianne Ochiltree (It's a Firefly Night) will lead a free Writer's Workshop at Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, sharing her expertise on how she develops and markets her stories, as well as the process of working with illustrators.

Dianne Ochiltree is the author of several books for children. She will be available prior to the workshop for a book signing from 6:30-7 PM. Join local children's author and illustrator Betsy Snyder for a special story time and craft to celebrate the release of her newest books, It's a Firefly Night (by Dianne Ochiltree) and I Haiku You. Both books are a great choice to show some love on Father's Day.

Local author and illustrator Betsy Snyder got her start as a staff artist at American Greetings before leaving in 2007 to pursue publishing opportunities full-time. Today, she is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's books including I Haiku You, Haiku Baby, Have You Ever Tickled a Tiger?, and Sweet Dreams Lullaby. Most recently, her artwork for Tons of Trucks (by Sue Fliess) earned a place in the Society of Illustrator's The Original Art 2012 exhibition. Betsy lives in Independence, Ohio, where she shares a studio with her graphic-designer husband.
