If you have a keen interest in survival stories, helicopters or the Antarctic, you may enjoy this book well enough; however, most of the excitement happens only in the last chapters -- especially in the stunning heroism of Colin Bodill following the wreck of the first helicopter ever to reach the South Pole.

Jennifer Murray writes the same way she no doubt speaks. Her writing would have benefitted from the attention of an editor.
