“My object in writing this volume has been to provide such of a general public as have the appetite and digestion for this kind of mental good-stuff with some account of the teachings of the modern philosophy of evolution in the matter of science and conduct” (Preface/pg v)

First, it gives insight into what was transpiring in the world of sciences at that time, so if you are interested in the study of the history of human relations and thoughts this is the book for you.

In conclusion, this book was written by an amazing genius in his time, explaining the general views of science by society and the author in a funny yet interesting way while showing us a great deal of the delightful Victorian culture.… (lisätietoja)
