I read this book via an Amazon KU [KINDLE Unlimited] download.
As I read this book, I couldn't help hearing the essence of a song playing in my mind; the song is "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."
What a friend we have in Jesus All our sins and griefs to bear What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer
Oh, what peace we often forfeit Oh, what needless pain we bear All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged Take it to the Lord in prayer
Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Before I began my journey in trying to be a good Christian woman two years ago, at the age of 69, after being inspired by publishing my first two Christian books, the relationship I had with the Lord was non-existent. However, after I began my relationship and discovered the message of the above song, the song changed, playing in my mind changed and became the words of Walk in the Garden. I come to the garden alone While the dew is still on the roses And the voice I hear, falling on my ear The son of God discloses
And he walks with me And he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known
I'd stay in the garden with him Though the night around me is falling But he bids me go Through the voice of woe His voice to me is calling.
The transformation that I've experienced by developing a relationship [friendship] with the Lord is akin to what Mr. Moore desires to occur in the lives of his readers as they read his book, which is why I've given him 5 STARS for his endeavor here.… (lisätietoja)
