ok but depressing (intentionally so) - not what I read for recreation.
Only a very short story but very well written. The concept is interesting and I was drawn straight into the story. I'll definitely be picking up more in this series. It is very short but that shouldn't be a problem if it is still free.

"I didn't particularly dislike this book but I can't say I liked it very much either ("it was ok" is a perfect descriptive).... Moon has an interesting story to tell, in many ways reminiscent (read:a poor man's version) of John Scalzi's amazing 'Old Man's War' series..."
to me, the writing seemed to be written for a least-common denominator, which meant almost everything about the tech, the civilisations, the history, etc, even the dialogue, was written more like a dick and jane kindergarten story than it was for a science fiction book.
this appears to be part of a series, but i won't be looking to read more...… (lisätietoja)
