I read this book for my U.S. women's history class. I don't yet know how I did on the essay conponent I wrote on this book for my first midterm in the class, but I enjoyed reading and writing about this topic. This was the first book I read on the Salem witchcraft trials, and I learned a lot from it. The book went on to explain how it began, individual cases for accused people, a neighboring town's times with it, how it ended, the after effects, and what has happened since then (pardoning of accused people through the years, the memorial). I would read this book again. It's rather short (78 pages), but do not think what the book has to say will not cause shock and that it is not meant for adult readers, for my class using this book is a college class. Since the book gave me a bigger interest in it's topic, I'm now waiting for another book about it to come in the mail.… (lisätietoja)
