H. Houston Merritt (1902–1979)

EVERYBODY needs one of these!! I picked this up probably at a yard sale. My daughter has a rare neurological condition, so I like to see what the textbooks have to say about it. Unfortunately, it is so rare, this one didn't say ANYTHING about it. Like any medical textbook, this one takes a very clinical approach to all of its discussions, and the assumption is that the reader has knowledge of the structures of and within the brain/central nervous system. This book either is putting me to sleep, or making me thank GOD my child doesn't have "that". Obviously, this book is directed at neurologists, not lay-people like me. My guess is that it is an overview of the most common diseases/conditions a neurologist would encounter. Like I said, my daughter's rare condition wasn't listed.… (lisätietoja)
