I really liked this book, it’s a mystery book like I haven’t read in a while. For reference if I was looking for a story like this, I would probably pick an Agatha Christie’s book.
This book is the fourth one in The Island Expats series. Nonetheless it could be a standalone. Apart from relationships between two or three characters, everything was clear, and the story begins and ends in this book.
Overall, it was a great and well written story. It took me 3-4 days to reads between work and the plot was interesting. The crime committed wasn’t a give away and neither was the criminal.
In the beginning the chapters seem to be all over the place, but it all comes together. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars to this book is the fact that characters, like Cathy and the swimming club, are introduced and they aren’t relevant to the story. Also, the finish seemed rushed, like there was a limit to the pages or time the author had to finish.

This book by Deb McEwan a "MUST READ". Amazingly written. So hard to out down. I realize now those little voices in my head is not just in my head. It could quite possibly be my loved ones that have passed helping me along my way and watching over and protecting me. What an awesome read. I went through so many emotions chapter to chapter. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the way she decided ti end this book leaves you yearning to go on to the next book. I cannot wait to start the next book in the series. The ending leaves you where you HAVE to read the next book, then the next.........
