About Ellen Tanner
Ellen Tanner Marsh was born in Cologne, Germany, in 1956. At the age of three, her family came to the United States for a two-year stay which has since lengthened to thirty-five.Ellen grew up in New Jersey and moved to Charleston, SC, with her family when she was sixteen. She graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. While debating whether or not to apply to veterinary school, she published her first historical romance novel, Reap the Savage Wind. When Reap became a New York Times’ bestseller, there was no question of continuing with her studies, and Ellen began writing full time. Two further New York Times’ bestsellers have followed: Wrap Me in Splendour, and its enormously popular sequel, Sable. With a total of eleven published novels, Ellen has garnered numerous awards, including a Romantic Times Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as appearing on the B. Dalton, Walden, Publishers Weekly, and other bestseller lists. She has over four million books in print and her work has been translated into four languages. They are extremely popular in her native Germany, where several have been included in special edition.Ellen still resides in Charleston, SC. A Christmas Embrace
Rose is a vet and Alex is a finance investor and they are married. Each is spending so much time doing their jobs they find themselves drifting away.
She wants to have a baby and he's not sure it's the right time. She gets them tickets to the northeast (from LA) to spend the holidays as a tradtional new england holiday.
They had gone to college in new england but he's got tickets for the football playoffs. Love all the detailed descriptions and discussion of the PA Dutch/German.
They get stranded and he is able to see her work at her profession that turns the light on for him....
They soon release what's most important...
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

Kenzie Daniels is a political cartoonist estranged from her family after embarrassing her father. Ross Calder has just taken responsibility for his 7-year-old son Angus, and is trying to bond on a holiday on the North Carolina coast.

It is love at first sight - for Kenzie and Angus. For Kenzie and Ross, loves takes longer to develop, be recognised, and overcome both their pasts.

I enjoyed this Special Edition story, especially the background detail of Kenzie's involvement in the local community and bird rescue. The end of the book was a little hurried: Kenzie's reconciliation with her family seemed to easy, as was clearing up misunderstandings with Ross. But a pleasant read with a beautiful setting and a happy ending.… (lisätietoja)
