Once again Emily to the rescue. Harassed nightly by nightmares about people that intended her harm in the past, Emily finds herself walking Pebble Beach. On top of all that she overhears a disturbing conversation at the most recent meeting that Victor has at her house. Could the two events be linked? How can she help? This fierce young woman sees thing extremely differently than the other supes and humans. She doesnt think everyone should care only about their particular species. Help thy neighbor no matter who or what they are is how Emily feels. It looks like maybe more of her friends feel the same? (Semi spoilers ahead...general idea of what the book is about. No big reveals)...This time it looks like Emily and Chloe need to come to the aid of Reece and his wolves. Of course trying to get him to realize this may be harder than they first thought. Things get hinky when a visiting pack comes to town. Suddenly Reece isn't acting like himself and won't believe them when they say some of these guests are targeting his wolves! Frustrated their friend is slipping through their fingers, Em and Chloe are determined to find out what the heck is really going on.
