gorgeous photos, excellent recipes. Why did I give this book away?
Is it perfect? Of course not. Does it cover every cuisine in great depth? Of course not. It's a survey, a compendium. But what it does cover is excellent. And the nice color photos of select dishes helps the cook visualize the intended outcome.
