Ruby Madden

A former stripper finds a way to work her way through law school by becoming an owner-operator of a gentlemen'a club. She meets and is attracted to a plus-sized female and the two begin a relationship. The big girl is shy and self-conscious at first but when the two add the clubs' hunky male bouncer into the mix, the story heats up. Clementine’s story is similar to others in which the female character engages with a hot male ghost named Gabe. There are dream flashbacks to the time Gabe was alive and the woman he loved. It was an okay easy read but not one that I felt had something new to offer in the genre. Some of the writing seemed a bit stiff and stilted but the overall story flowed and was fine in its own way.
