2 coyote friends have to separate because one is moving away. is it ok to make more friends

This book is about two coyotes out in the desert. They were best friends and did everything together until one of them moves away. Then another coyote moves in and the coyote that stayed behind starts a friendship with the new coyote. This book also has many animals that live the desert within the story.

Coyotes Frank and Angelina have been best friends for a long time. When Angelina family moves away, Frank misses her, but also learns to make new friends without expecting everything to be the same. He finds Larry ,the new coyote in town, who is also "one of a kind" in a totally different way. What a great friendship story. This would be great to read for students on their first day. It shows you that you can make friends anywhere.

There is a Coyote named Frank. He has a friend named Larry and a girlfriend named Melanie. They play together. They learned not to play with porcupines or skunks. Scorpions and rattlesnakes are dangerous. Rabbits, mouses, burros, horned toads and Gila monsters are fun to play with. Sometimes Frank likes to be alone to read and nap. At night he likes to party with other coyotes!
