This is mandatory reading for us who have grown up as children of this current porn culture. Shelley unmasks the lie of porn and reveals a hell on earth that is a playground of demonic activity that is full of disease, drugs and despair. All the porn star poses and phrases that they say for the camera as they smile and say they 'love it' and 'want more' are all part of the performance. Porn is certainly not what it is portrayed to be on film for us to see and 'buy'. Now I find myself wondering if the women we see in these movies were abused as children or if they come from broken or abusive homes. Are they doing this because they believe they have no other options? Are they doing it because they believe this is what they must do to survive? Are they looking for acceptance and love? This book is shocking at times as we get rare, first hand glimpses of the depravity of that lifestyle. Yet it is inspiring too as we see the miracles in Shelley's life as Jesus Christ met her where she was at and rescued her, blessed her and redeemed her past. This book is well written and moves at a good pace. It is hard to put down once you start reading it. I highly recommend it - especially to those who are struggling with porn addiction.… (lisätietoja)
