While this has become a little dated in 2014, it is an amazing resource for anyone involved in non-profit marketing. The text is readable and concise, and the book is packed with real "how to do it" steps that are often missing in general discussions about the topic. Miller discusses how to develop, focus and prioritize your message, and then provides an in-depth guide to actually getting your message out there, answering questions for the non-net savvy that they wouldn't even know to ask. I would have given this book the full five stars if some of the more practical information hadn't already become obsolete. While she refers readers to the "companion website," that seems to have turned into a marketing website containing a wealth of good free information and a series of seminars for an additional fee, which no longer actually updates the book.
