I didn't find the book very funny even though the stories were somewhat entertaining. I didn't find a point to most of the stories. It was as if something was missing. This was not a book for me but others may like it very much.

"Laughing into the fourth dimension" sets a certain expectation ... but for me, that expectation went unfulfilled. These stories did not make me laugh. Furthermore, I would call most of them quirky rather than humorous. There's nothing wrong with that per se, of course, but again — that title ....
The larger issue with the actual stories is that many of them come off as half-baked: containing a germ of an idea that is given some perfunctory development before being rather abruptly abandoned. More than once, I was caught by surprise when a story ended where it had no business ending. It's too bad, too, because some of the ideas themselves are creative enough to deserve better treatment.… (lisätietoja)
