Erin Lale

Renaissance Woman by Erin Lale is a collection of poetry and art that allows the reader to experience the magic of poetry with added visualization. There are several poems in this collection that I enjoyed because they contained mythological and Nature elements.

One poem that I particularly enjoyed is entitled The Completion and tells a story of the Greek God Pan. I could envision Pan frolicking in a field of flowers, dancing away the pain, with a sparkle in his eye during the poem.

Another poem that I related too was entitled Zoe. Perhaps I was able to connect to the poem because of the Cherokee blood that runs through my veins. Though times may be changing and the traditions I grew up with aren't as openly practiced or remembered, this poem reminds us that the Cherokee ways are still alive within us.… (lisätietoja)
