This book is an informational book describing the similarities and differences between animals that look alike. Some of the animals discussed were alligators and crocodiles, hares and rabbits, and turtles and tortoises. Although the pictures are not as well done as they could have been, this book is full of good information.

As a reader I was intrigued as to the similarites between animals that interest me (such as alligators and crocodiles) but was bored reading other animals. I would have enjoyed the book a lot more had it been shorter (maybe the facts written in bullet points or charts) and had more vivid pictures.

Within a classroom this would be a great book for students to read to get an idea on how to write reports. It may also be used as a means to answer student questions regarding the differences between animals that are often thought of as being the same. It would also be a great resource for students to use in writing research papers.… (lisätietoja)
