Pictorial history of the formative years - Jefferys detailed illustrations
Published in 1949 and in its 8th printing by 1979, this 80 page illustrated children's book is written in the stereotypical style of the era and thus has long been removed from school library shelves. It includes 24 of C.W. Jefferys documentary art masterpieces that now are accessible online through ArchiviaNet. The single page of Aboriginal language is largely ill-informed and inaccurate.
