There is hope for the hopeless. Shannon was introduced in Choosing You. She was hard to like. Her abrasive attitude made it almost impossible. Cherishing You explains more of who Shannon is and what set her on the pathway to self distruction. Her wake up call couldn't have come soon enough. Having to admit responsibility for past mistakes, she learned to love herself and wanted to make her daughter proud. I received a copy of Cherishing You in exchange for an honest review. Did not start out liking this character but her will to become a better role model and her road to forgiving herself and finding her own happiness earned my respect. There is no such thing as smooth sailing. Just ask Jeff and Taryn. At the time where there happiness is within reach, there is an upset in their happily ever after. Choosing You is their story. No child deserves a mother like Shannon. The most important task in a parent's life is to look at the well-being of their child, not use the child as a stepping stone for you. Olivia deserved to be protected from this poor excuse of a human being. Ms. Jayne chose an appropriate title. Choosing You is a story about finding joy in the darkest of times and fighting for all you want to achieve. The story is a realistic journey of love between a family despite the odds.

I liked this novel, and I know how Mickey felt with always picking the wrong man to date! Upon discovering her last boyfriend was married with a child, she vowed to keep herself under control, until she accidentally met Nick Halden when he jumped started her car. Nick had an effect on her heart, Even though he wasn't married, her BS meter was ring loud and clear and she knew she should stay away from him but, they worked in the same building and parked in the same garage!

At first, I liked Nick for helping Mickey out, until he learned that acquiring her company would be a feather in his cap and make him fly up the charts to make partner in his law firm, Things heat up when his fiancee drops a bomb on him!… (lisätietoja)
