Very interesting perspective of Women, and Women in the Gospel. I initially read this based upon an essay on polygamy extracted from this book, and was so impressed with it, that I bought the book.
Excellent book, but I will warn that it contains graphic stories and statistics of abuse on women and children in order to make the case of ending violence against women and making the world safer for both men and women. The book explains what needs to happen to “lessen the inequalities between men and women, the physical insecurity of women throughout the world. The gross inequality in family law, and the absence of women in councils where important decisions concerning the human collectives are made.” Both from a top down approach and a bottom up approach.… (lisätietoja)
