Contains lists of foods by categories with the prayer to say before consuming them along with brief comments and explanations as needed. Also, general rules for which prayers to say for which kinds of food as well as for certain occasions. And the different prayers to say after eating. All in a pamphlet small enough to fit in a large pocket.
It doesn't explicitly explain that bananas do not grow on trees, but it does say "ho-adomoh." (Note that the pronunciation of the transliteration is Ashkenazic.) The book is primarily English, each food in the lists is in English together with the primary, differentiating word transliterated and then in Hebrew. The special occasions are followed by the end part of the brachot in English, Hebrew and Hebrew transliteration.
The back cover has a chart numbering all the foods shown of the front together with their names and corresponding prayers.… (lisätietoja)
