Highly recommend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the ending was a bit anti-climactic. But otherwise, a completely engrossing, fascinating angle to slavery that you likely haven't read yet.

It is a story that no listener, and no reader, will ever forget.Published in Canada as The Book of Negroes and the basis for the award-winning BET miniseries of the same name.… (lisätietoja)

The characters are too one dimensional, the plot overly predictable, and the perfect, happy ending absolutely nauseating. Don't bother with this one.
