I don't quite know how to rate this book. I received an early reviewer eBook copy, expecting the entire book, 272 pages, but what I received was 104 locations. I'm not entirely sure that it starts on location 1, because the book just starts with a recipe. There are 7 recipes. Since there is no table of contents, I will give you the names of the recipes it does enclose.
Donuts
Pie Crust
Caramel Apples
Caramel Custard
Spring Roll Bowls
Stromboli
Chicken and Rice
That's it. Just a small sampling of recipes. I may try out one or two of the recipes, I have main recipes that I use, but I might try out the piecrust or caramel (apples) recipes. We use our homemade caramel differently than the author does.
As far as advanced reader copies go, only one other time was the offered book not what it said it was. I consider these underhanded tactics. I read and review a lot of books each year and would not have requested this one if I knew it was a "sampler."
I received a complimentary sample copy from Herald Press and #edelweissplus I was under no obligation to post a review.
