Incredible. The author creates a whole new world that’s easy to get lost in. I didn’t want to read anything else. With religion at the forefront but in a unique manner this is a must read for all adults. Despite graphic sex and violence it is all written with tact and isn’t there for no reason. The author makes a point to make everything in the text have a purpose. I want to read more from this author.… (lisätietoja)

Well, first off, I will never NOT finish a book if I can help it. Unfortunately, I've had this book for quite a while, and it was a hassle to read. The basic premise is that in a sci-fi universe there are scientific and anthropological teams sent to other planets to study other species found there. The downside to this book is that even with the evolving relationships, the reader isn't engaged with their progression. There is very little explanation of how and why readers should even care about their futures. I suggest a rewrite, and a reevaluation of the central themes to this book.… (lisätietoja)

I took a long time to end the book. The author is playing with time and parallel universe at the same time keeping the reader confused. That may not be a bad idea but this is not a book you want to read when your brain is tire.

The main character was cool, not being a super human and constantly trying to deal with his emotions. He was human in a world full of aliens and technologies...

It would have been interesting to develop more of his past and the universe where the book is evolving. At the end, I have a hard time answering question like: why, when and how...… (lisätietoja)
