John C. Havens

This is a book about how we might gain control of and even benefit more from the technological lives. Havens focuses on the fact that much of our personal data from out computers and smart phones is being spread to corporations and the government without our knowledge. He suggests that there are ways we can control this and even make a monetary profit from the sale of our information. He also suggests "apps" that would let us live fuller lives even for altruistic purposes. One interesting sidelight is a study he cites that we are spending so much time texting and on the internet that people are using control of their facial muscles. Atrophy of the face!
