I liked this short erotic story with a caught in a snowstorm plot and a bit of paranormal. Hero's atonement was almost good enough. Sheriff Jake is caught in a snowstorm and Sera is nearest house.

This is a very hot short story. I got this thinking it was a Christmas story, but it’s not, though there is a snow storm.

Sera (phina) is an empath who had fled her New Hampshire home after her NYPD-turned-small-town sheriff boyfriend Jake broke her heart. They had been making love, and for the first time, she gave him the full Monty, mind to mind. He didn’t let the doorknob hit him on the ass as he raced away.

Now Sera’s back, having learned to better control her powers, Jake has done a little growing up and research. A freak snowstorm traps them together, and provides the excuse that of course Sera has to take off all of Jake’s clothes, and her own, to warm him up and save his life. (How many times has this been done?) Still, they’re both likable characters, Cody the dog adds a humorous touch, and the sex is hot. Enjoyable, and I’d like to read more by this author.… (lisätietoja)

A Man for Marly Tekijä: Arianna Hart

I really enjoyed this book. My first read by Ms. Hart. The chemistry between Marly and Hunter was amazing. I did find Marly a bit too set on being "independent" and not at all willing to compromise initially due to her tunnel vision and unwillingness to take a chance. This was a very well written book and the protrayal of Hunter as charming alpha male with a soft heart. The funniest scene was when Hunter meets Marlys wack job mother.

Heroine is an empath who returned to her New Hampshire home after two years in Arizona learning to control her power. (What she does for a living, I have no idea.) Hero is the sheriff, who rejected the heroine because of her talent two years before and now wants to get back with her so badly he apparently forgets how to deal with living in a snowy climate.

It wasn't awful, but the reunited lovers' reunion was so contrived it just felt like a set-up for the reunion sex ... but no, wait, we have to talk... but yes, it will make everything all better again. I'm not sure how long that back and forth went on; I got bored and started another book instead of waiting to find out.… (lisätietoja)
