Panda can teach students many things about panda bears like where they live, what they eat and what they like to do. This book is an informational book. I would have this book in a 5th grade and up classroom because of the bigger/advanced words and information.

This book describes to young readers what citizenship is all about. It presents the concept of community, responsibilities of citizens, and inclusivity. This book describes American citizenship in terms of voting, accepting others, and being part of your community.

This is an excellent book dealing with bullying, what kids can do about it, and how to get help. This book is applicable to all students and all students should be aware at a very early age that bullying is not acceptable behavior and this book illustrates that concept very clearly. It also provides children appropriate actions to take if someone is bullying them.

This book teaches children the various concepts of freedom and citizenship in the United States. It discusses freedom to vote, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom to move about the country. This book is a good introduction to some main concepts and values inherent in American culture and history and would be a good primer book for students new to the United States.
