Jack Dyer played 312 VFL games for Richmond from 1931 until 1949 and is acknowledged as one of the great players and personalities in the game’s history. This is the first substantial biographical work about him, and one of the earlier biographies of a VFL player. By 1965 Dyer was an established football media personality and this book covers some of this ground in addition to his legendary playing and coaching career.
