A great book on how to hear God's voice and distinguish it from the enemy's. It really hit home for me and I'm glad to have taken the time to read it.

This is a sweet little devotional book if you like shorter chapters and stories leading one to God. If you are looking for a devotional with a biblical quote to focus on with each day or reading and thoughts about that particular quote this may not be the best option for you. The author also starts a number of days/chapters with a paragraph that uses a lot of "I" statements, and it, at times, read as though these were prayers that the author himself prayed. With that in mind, some of the daily chapters begin with the author talking about Man's Church or Father Encounters - which if you do not identify with this - it might be difficult to get beyond.

For me, I read the devotional as it was one person's way of praying - mine might be different, but this showed me another person's personal way of praying.

I found this book intriguing and inspirational. Each day of the 30 days gave me more to think about and I want to go back and reread them so that I can think about it more deeply. I find myself wondering how to go about connecting more with God and I look forward to it.

The only issue I had, since I was a proof reader many years ago, is the misspellings. At first they were quite distracting but shortly into the book, my focus was very definitely on the content.

I received a MOBI.file copy of this book from the author through a giveaway he had on LibraryThing, and the following is my honest opinion.
Publishing my first two books on January 11, 2020. inspired me to start writing my Christian blog, where I am sharing the words of the Lord daily. Once you start conversing with the Lord regularly, it becomes easier and easier, and the topics getting discussed can increase in their intimacy.

Having conversations with the Lord, one will find it to be a fulfilling and uplifting experience, especially when they involve something dear to their hearts. One of these topics deals with Heaven, and only the Heaven we, as Christians, strive to reach once we're called home by the Lord, but the Heaven here on earth with the living.

In Scripture, in PSALM 115:5 [NKJV], we read:

"They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see;"

Each day the Lord is creating His wonders that too many of us are not able to experience, wonders that are creating a heaven on earth. We are too engrossed in our existence to have time for anything else, even if it would benefit us. We need to determine what is truly holding us back from experiencing the Lord's wonders and allowing His endless love from becoming part of us, body and soul. Experiencing the Lord's wonders can become quite infectious as the heaven on earth attribute of this experience affects all those we encounter.

For each of the 30 days in this devotional book, author Daniel Green, shares a testimony of his experiences in having conversations with the Lord, proving the limitless wonders of the Lord.

For wanting his readers to begin having conversations with the Lord and experiencing the heaven that exists all around us if we look hard enough, I've given Mr. Green 5 STARS for his endeavor here.

This is a very simple message, in a short 36 pages, to improve your relationship with God, and silence the enemy [as the title so aptly describes] . Because the title is so explanatory, and the message so short and clear, I cannot say any more without spoilers. It is worth reading, and worth doing. I recommend it.

On the positive side, this book is a quick, easy read, and is reasonably well organized. I also appreciated the appendix, for which I have no criticisms.
The question is valid; the introduction gets right to the question at hand; and the early comments about God doing the fighting and providing the armor are good reading.
Why, then, the low rating? I cannot bring myself to agree with the author about his proposed solution. I was particularly taken aback at the instruction to "Put aside your religious beliefs that your only relationship with [God] can be found in reading the Bible. (Kindle Locations 201-202). Anakainoo International."
I don't want to write a book in defense of my review, but God's Word is the only test by which I am able to know whether my thoughts and impressions about God can be trusted. Some matters of knowing God's will are precepts, principles and premises, while there are also processes, and illustrations through examples, etc. If I "hear" a voice "in my spirit", and can't verify it in God's Word, I assume that it is my idea, or worse. That said, I've probably written enough to help the reader decide whether to read the book or not.

I received a Mobi.file copy of this book from the author through a giveaway he recently had on LibraryThing, and the following is my honest opinion.

In our time of need, how often have we reached out to G-d to ask him for his intervention to help us get through the crisis we've been facing. Quite a few, right. But then we get frustrated because we didn't seem to get any response to our pleas. According to the author in his book, this frustration is due to our inability to know how to hear what he's saying to us and recognize when he's speaking to us.

The purpose of this book is to essentially give its readers some guidance in discovering what is holding us back in realizing how G-d is trying to communicate to us and in having us rejoice in experiencing of hearing it when he does. Daniel Green has done this in this book to give his readers the knowledge of how to recognize when the Lord speaks to them. When things happen in the lives of individuals, it might get caused by His speaking to them.

When I wrote my Christian books, I would need some guidance on what I should write next and what I could do. When I did, I would lay in bed thinking about this before falling asleep. I often wound up having a dream of what I needed to write; this dream could have only come from the Lord.

For wanting his readers to possess the ability to recognize and clearly hear God's voice speaking to them, I've given Mr. Green 5 STARS for his endeavor here.

For some reason, I couldn’t help but sense the well-known secular song The Impossible Dream playing in my mind. Perhaps the reason for this to have occured is rooted in the fact that we all have dreams of accomplishing something in our lives, something which according to our current state of affairs, can best be described as being impossible.

There are many aspects of the lyrics of the song which are part and parcel of our quest to reach our desired accomplishment. Our quest can seemingly be like an unbeatable foe, and our inability to reach our goal might create an unbearable sorrow. Despite this, we’re still willing to persevere even though our arms and our spirits are too weary to reach our unreachable star, and no matter how hopeless this quest might be, we’re willing to do almost anything.

The author, Daniel Green, once again in his unique style wants to impart to his readers the manner through which they’re going to be able to achieve their aspirations and desires. This includes an alteration in their defective beliefs and other factors that have been preventing them from achieving becoming the individual the Lord wants them to become. By readers recognizing their weak points he wants them to replace their points with those that are stronger

The essence of what Mr. Green wants to come away with can be found in several places in the Bible, such as MARK 10:27 [NKJV]

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men, it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

Which can be reaffirmed by reading LUKE 1:37 [NJKV]

“For with God, nothing will be impossible.”

For we must remember that we can’t be doubters and recall what JAMES 1:6 [NKJV] tells us:

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”

For wanting his readers to transform themselves from being doubters to that of being believers, as well as for, from merely being dreamers to that of becoming achievers, as a somewhat voracious reviewer of Christian books, I’m glad to be able to give Mr. Green the 5 STARS he’s garnered for this endeavor.

While it’s easy to ask: “Which one of us doesn’t want to wish that they could be rich?”, at the same time we need to remember that the Lord has a predetermined plan for each one of us. This begs the question whether or not us being wealthy would destroy his plan for us.

Since no one knows the Lord’s plan for ourselves, perhaps the actions we take will make us become rich. And it is these actions for which we’re in the dark about in knowing what to do. Author Daniel Green in this book wants his readers to obtain this knowledge by educating them as to the truth as to the correct information concerning riches and wealth as stated in the Bible, since there’s a multitude of misconceptions which for years we’ve been repeatedly told about by those whom which we believed we could trust.

These individuals who we believe we could trust have been our pastors and other church leaders that have continuously mispresented what biblical scripture actually states regarding this matter. And this lack of correct knowledge causes far too many Christians from achieving their dreams as well as obtaining everything the Lord wants them to have.

If there’s one scripture which would describe in essence what Mr. Green wants his readers to learn from reading his book it would be JOHN 8:32 [NKJV]:

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

For having given his readers, including this reviewer of Christian books, the truth regarding being/becoming wealthy/rich in the bible, I’ve given Mr. Green 5 STARS for imparting this knowledge on us.

I and my inner-child read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

From time to time when I read/review a book I allow my inner-child to have the pleasure of doing it, my inner-child still possesses the ability to read a book without being encumbered by the influence of the adult experiences I’ve been through. My inner-child still possesses some of the innocence I had during this age of wonderment and belief that everything is actually the way it’s been written.

With all the Christian books I’ve read/reviewed, I can recognize how I child would feel if they’d witnessed Moses parting the sea so everyone could escape the Pharaoh’s clutches.

If you consider the author’s [Daniel Green] reason for writing this book so that we’ll be able to experience our faith in the Lord be more like a child than in our current belief system. If you do, then you need to take a look at 1 CORINTHIANS 4:17 [New KJV] to see confirmation as to why this is so important:

“For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.”

And to further see the importance of a child in our faith in the Lord, look no further than ISAIAH 11:6 [New KJV]:

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.”

For wanting to transform his readers in the way they practice their faith in the Lord to that of a more rewarding level by becoming more childlike and giving them a means of achieving it, as a reviewer of Christian I’ve given Mr. Green the rating he’s earned by writing this endeavor.

I received a Mobi.file of this book from the author through a giveaway he had on LibraryThing and the following is my honest opinion.

When I read/review any book I NEVER look for any errors the author has made, I look for what they’re trying to communicate to their readers, especially when it comes to Christian books regarding the Lord. The reason for this can be found COLOSSIANS 3:13 [Berean Bible Study]:

“Bear with each other and forgive any complaint you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

It goes without saying those who truly believe in the Lord are always expecting the next miracle which might come from His hand. This is an important reason as to why it’s important for more individuals to begin His following.

Who knows when the next miracle from the Lord will occur; except the Lord himself? Which is why everyone needs to remember JAMES 4:15,

“For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”

No one knows if the Lord will use them as the catalyst for His next miracle or better the next set of miracles, which is why its important for everyone to remain true to the Lord as we’re instructed to do in PHILIPPIANS 4:1 [KJV], and avoid following those so-called spiritual leaders.

“Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.”

The one problem which exists in the ability of many individuals is the lack of knowledge in being able to catch the next wave of His miracles. For starters, there is the need to know where He is going, doing and saying. And then if you’re able to find this wave of miracles, you shouldn’t go against it or attempt to stop it, for in doing so, you’re be going against His divine plan[s].

This is where this book by author Daniel Green comes in to play for in its pages is the apparent secret in the possibility of catching the next tsunami of the Lord’s miracles happen. For wanting his readers to have this happen in their lives, as a reviewer of Christian books I’ve given Mr. Green the 5 STARS he’s garnered.
