This book had high antics but was very entertaining!

The first half of the book is all about revenge. Sydney and Gray play really, really mean jokes on each other at the start of this story. The pranks are over the top, some boarding on cruel and that makes it hard to connect or even like these characters. I know that I struggled with liking them. Initially.

But once their pasts are revealed, you see them in an entirely different light. I love their character development. It may seem like these characters do a complete 180 but the more you learn about them (specifically their past together), you see that they were always these people underneath their hard exteriors. I love stories that can make me change my opinion of a character the more I read and this one definitely did.

As for the romance, I will be honest and say that I didn't see why these two liked each other. Again, it becomes more clear the more you read and learn about their past. Overall, I was very satisfied with the romance of this novel.

If you love drama and love second chance New Adult romances, this book is definitely up your alley!

This book was perfection! There is no other way to put it because there was nothing that I didn't like about it, it was just perfect. I agree with other reviewers that there needs to be more hype about it. We need to get the word out about Devious Minds! Everyone should be gushing about Sydney and Gray. Not only were they a swoonworthy couple but a really entertaining one too. Sydney was hilarious, I just loved her sense of humor and the chemistry between these two was off the charts. Gray was amazing and equal parts evil and sweet.

I realize I'm not being very objective with this review because I can't really point out any flaws. Sometimes when you're reading a book you go through parts that seem to be there just to fill up space and you make yourself get through them so you can get to the "good parts." Well, this book was all "good parts." The whole time I was reading, I was fully invested in what was going on at that moment. First when they were enemies plotting to ruin one another and then when the attraction took hold. Devious Minds was a fantastic read!
